Today this post is about IFS Exam Pattern,Syllabus and Last year previous papers to Download. IFS Exam is scheduled to held on 09 July 2011.This post will help you to prepare the exam well.
IFS Exam Pattern /Syllabus:
IFS(Indian Forest Service )Exam Consist of two rounds.First round consist of written testand the candidates who cleared the written test will undergo for Interview process.
IFS witten Test consist of Following Papers:
PaperI:General English : Precis writing,Essay Writing ,other question like understanding of English.
PaperII:General Knowledge:Current affairs,History of India,Geography,Indian political system and constitution,Basic Science questions.
Both PaperI & PaperII have 300 Marks Each.
Optional Papers:PaperIII,PaperIV,PaperV,Paper VI.(Each Is having 200 Marks)
Total Marks:1400
In optional papers,you need to choose two subjects,each of which would have two papers and contain eight question,from which five questions are to be answered.Time limit is 3 Hour.
There are total eight questions(each carries equal marks) in two parts,out of which five questions to be answered
